Meizu MX4 will be lauched in 2 days!

Meizu has started sending out invites for its event taking place on Thursday, March 6th in Paris. The invite itself doesn’t tell us much about what to expect, but we’re betting we’ll see the MX4 unveiled at that time.

Chances are this bad boy will rely on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 801 chip, or who knows, the new Exynos 5 Octa chip. Current Meizu MX3 uses earlier Exynos 5 so they may decide to keep relying on a Samsung-made SoC.

Samsung introduces a brand new design paradigm with the S5 - one that still uses plastic as the basis material, but flaunts a perforated rear pattern, that is quite different than the "stitched leather" looks of the Note 3, or the PRO tablet line of Samsung.

Qualcomm announces Snapdragon 801 (MWC 2014)

Qualcomm just unveiled its new powerful chipset, Snapdragon 801, which seems to occupy a place between last year's finest - Snapdragon 800 - and the yet unreleased Snapdragon 805.

In comparison with the Snapdragon 800, the new 801 comes with:

  • 14% faster Krait 400 processor cores
  • 28% faster Adreno 330 graphics
