Huawei announced MediaPad X1, Ascend G6 & TalkBand B1

It appears that LG isn't the only one who can't wait for the beginning of the MWC 2014, Huawei announced today a brilliant super thin tablet MediaPad X1, an extremely affordable smartphone Ascend G6 and a TalkBand B1 that is similar to Nike+ FuelBand write before the event from Barcelona.

The Ascend G6 appears to share some design elements with the higher-end Ascend P6. The main specs are:


  • 4.5-inch 960 x 540 LCD
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • NFC and an decent 2,000mAh battery
  • an 8-megapixel f/2.0 imager plus a 5-megapixel front-facing counterpart  
  • 3G-only 
  • 7.5mm-thick (the 4G version will have a 7.85mm-thickness)


The 8-inch MediaPad M1 tablet has:

  • 1,280 x 800 IPS display with stereo front-facing speakers
  • 4,800mAh battery
  • 1.6GHz quad-core chip
  • 5-megapixel main camera and a 1-megapixel front facing camera 
  • 7.9mm-thick body
The specs for the Talkband are down here:

  • 1.4-inch flexible OLED display on the band
  • wireless calling
  • removable earpiece inside
  • 14.6mm-thickness
  • fitness tracking features: It records how many steps you've taken, how far you've travelled and how many calories you've burned. It's also a sleeping pattern monitor, so you can use the smart alarm function to wake up at the optimal time. 
  • NFC here for pairing with phones 
  • 90mAh battery
